On January 23, 2019, Troy Alton George passed away unexpectedly at his home due to chronic health issues. Troy was an amazing man, with a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Troy was born son to Alton George and the late Harline Davis. He was born and raised in the East county region of San Diego county and graduated from Granite Hills High School in 1980. As an adult, his love for great adventure kept him moving from place to place experiencing all that life has to give. He resided in California, Nevada, Hawaii and Texas while working in numerous professions, however, spent most of his working years as a heavy equipment operator. One his greatest adventures was becoming a father with the birth of his only daughter, Amy Davis in November 1980. Troy enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, hunting, camping, 4-wheel off roading, line dancing, scuba diving and so much more. Over the past year few years, it was heartbreaking that his health had limited his ability to enjoy these hobbies. With a heart full of love, he would do anything for family and friends. In his final years, he made San Diego home to prioritize his relationships with immediate family and close friends. Although his recent passing was a shock, he would want us to take peace in knowing that he was saved as a believer in Christ. He is now on his best adventure of all, side by side, with his mother in heaven and no longer suffering from his health. A Celebration of Life will be held for Troy on March 1, 2019, 11:00 am at Crown Point North, 700 Corona Oriente Rd, San Diego, CA 92109. Please dress casual and warm as his Celebration Of Life will held outside by the bay in the gazebo. It is also suggested that you bring chair for seating. Please direct flowers and condolences to Troy's daughter, Amy Davis at: 1366 Coker Way, El Cajon Ca 92021.
