Timothy Hart
Wiese
Jun 19, 1949 — Aug 23, 2026
There is more to a man than his birth date and the date of his return back to his original home. Loving life and riding each wave with gusto and wonder is what he did every day. The important people in Tim’s life that are now left to feel the loss are his wife, Frances, his brother Michael Wiese, sister-in-law Sherry Wiese, daughter, Ashley Malette, son-in-law, Bobby, granddaughter, Mackayla, grandson, Aiden, his niece Anchalee Kurreragthai and family, nephew Ken Kunneragthai and family, nieces Shannon Rinde and family and Tara and family. He considered my son Jason and Jason’s wife Jaime, as his son and daughter-in-law and my grandson Jacob and Jonah his grandsons. There was a special relationship between Tim and Jacob. They were partners in crime and Jacob was his little shadow. Tim understood him and Jacob just loved being with him.
He developed a love for diamond paintings, absolutely loved golfing, baseball, football, going out to great restaurants and enjoying time with all his friends and family. He had a passion for gardening, decorating for holidays and shopping. Yes, a man who loved shopping. Who knew they existed? He could talk with anyone about any subject and there wasn’t anyone that wasn’t his friend. I mentioned he loved golfing, he actually really loved golfing with all his friends, especially the 19th hole. He worked hard from being a paperboy when he was young, owning his own semi-truck rig, traveling the US, and different retail positions as the store Manager, at Thrifty Drugs, Bigs Lots and lastly at GoodWill Store in University City. He traveled in Europe visiting friends in Italy living for a moment like a local. He witnessed and felt the beauty, splendor and tragedy of history that you can’t feel when you’re learning about it through books. He did seize each day and lived each moment in the present.,
he brought joy and laughter wherever he went and gave graciously from his heart to help anyone in need. He worked hard, played hard and simply enjoyed every aspect of living and he did live well.
Tim and I met when we were working at the Hilton on Mission Bay, we were both 15 1/2. He was a busboy working for my Aunt. I was a maid working full time during the summer. Life was so easy then. Ah yes there was a spark, but nothing came of it. We were like two ships passing in the night through the years. When I met him again it was like coming home. I can’t explain it, but it was as if it was supposed to be, and yes, I am an incurable romantic. Fast forward to December 5, 1998, a Christmas Party that I almost missed, but due to insistence from the party giver, I showed up and low and behold there was Tim sitting on the piano bench. We were never apart after that day. We married the following year on October 22, 1999. He is, was and always will be my light and I will miss him dearly as so many will.
Tim will be scattered at Kapalua on the Maui coast. That was the very first island Tim had ever visited, and I was fortunate enough to be with him. He absolutely loved that trip and that island. It is there that his ashes will be blessed, the timing may not be until I die; that is something that will be decided later.
God has blessed me and all those that have enjoyed his beautiful soul. He is now resting in peace
