Theresa was born March 31, 1930 in Pawtucket RI to Hector Paquette and Ida Forant Paquette. One of three siblings, Theresa is survived by her sister Winifred Tharp.
Theresa married Arthur Tiemann in 1953. She is survived by her 4 children, Sharon Roseland, Arthur Tiemann, Lane Logan and Ed Tiemann; 7 grandchildren Stephen (wife Kathy) and Paul (wife Jenny) Roseland, Megan and Anna Tiemann, Joseph Dyer, Samantha (husband Bill) Williams and Eddie (wife Samantha) Tiemann; 12 great-grandchildren Brian (wife Lesilie) and Alexa Roseland, Nathan, Alec, Marcus, Emiley, Chase, Zachary and Cooper Roseland, Kaitlyn Williams and Hayley and Krystal Tiemann; and 2 great-great-grandchildren Grant and Haley Roseland.
Theresa devoted her life to her family and enjoyed a special relationship with each of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her sister Winnie her and family in Springfield, MO, brother Kenneth (Sonny) and his family in Monson, MA and her dear friends the Marsh family in High Ridge, MO. She was always laughing and sharing stories from the past, enjoyed sitting around the table playing cards or Domino's with her son-in-law Jim and sister Winnie; Scrabble with her grandson Joe; making puzzles and playing any game that someone was willing to sit and play.
Theresa loved to travel and did so regularly when she was still able to. All her children had a "Grandma's" room ready and waiting for her regular visits.
Theresa, as we all know, was an animal lover. Animals such as her racoon and backyard full of ducks and geese she cared for while living in North Carolina adopted her! She has always had pet cats and dogs who were all very devoted to her and spoiled by her. She was also an avid football fan and she routed her team, the Washington Redskins, on with energy and passion every Sunday no matter what kind of season they were having. She enjoyed her weekly conversations with her son-in-law Jim and sister Winnie to 'debate' the weekly games!
Her family though was always her main priority and concern. We will all miss you terribly each day but know you are in a much better place and that you will be with us, watching over us until we meet again…..
Life is so ironic it takes sadness to know what happiness is noise to appreciate silence & absence to value presence. Unknown author
