Alpine, CA- Much loved grandmother, mother, companion and friend, Teresa Gritman passed away January 3, 2016. Her ashes will be spread with her brother's over Lake Cuyamaca.
Teresa was born October 25, 1951 in San Diego, CA. She grew up and attended High School in the North Park area, graduating from Hoover High School. She married and had two sons Shad and Trevor. She worked many years doing what she loved, gardening and landscaping for some of the largest companies in San Diego.
Teresa was amazingly creative as a seamstress and artist. She also had a great love of poetry and photography. She wrote a great deal of her own poetry and was even published. She had such pride in her grandchildren, Gage (16), Bailey (12), Molly (9), Boston (5). She had the honor of raising them in her home as their "nanny" for their formative years, for which she was very grateful. She often volunteered at her grandchildren's schools to teach art.
Teresa was an active member of the Red Hat Ladies Society and the Victorian Ladies Club of San Diego. She enjoyed Victorian Tea parties with her dear friends in these societies.
Please join us for a celebration of her life on January 30, 2016, at 2165 Valley mill Rd, El Cajon, CA 92020.
