Sybil G. Olson August 2, 1937 - May 21, 2021 Sybil passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side in San Diego on May 21, 2021. She was born in Des Moines and graduated from Bradford Jr. College and University of Wisconsin-Madison. A Realtor for 52 years, the "queen of Fairacres" was active in the Jr. League of Omaha, Omaha Symphony Guild and her Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Preceded in death by devoted husbands Richard S. Thailing and Evan E. Olson and beloved sister Diane Cushman. Survived by a daughter, Sarah Thailing (Dean Calbreath); sons, Chris Olson (Tanya) and Eric Olson (Renee Cheng); and five grandchildren. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday July 10 at 10am, All Saints Episcopal Church, 9302 Blondo St., Omaha, Nebraska reception to follow. Wear fuchsia/bright colors to celebrate Sybil's life.
