Stephanie Marie Raney (1955-2020) Stephanie Marie Raney passed away quickly and peacefully, with her daughter by her side, on Friday, June 12, 2020 in La Mesa, California, at the age of 64. She was born on July 31, 1955 in Washington, D.C. to Lawrence Brown Raney and Patricia Ann Raney. She lived with kidney disease for nearly two years until her body could not take anymore and her soul returned home. She is survived by her daughter Nicole (Aaron) Amerine and siblings Danny (Dina) Ross, Larry (Becky) Raney, David Raney, and Theresa Hanson, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews: Chloe, Phoebe, Rikki, Samantha, Kacie, Lucas, and Noah. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother Ronald Raney. Stephanie spent most of her life in Chula Vista before moving to El Cajon in 2019. She loved watching football and was a devoted San Diego Chargers fan. She loved her family, her two dogs, Beau and Ruby, and her granddog, Wellington. She was kind, generous, considerate, and eager to help others when she could. She is loved and will be forever missed.
