Shari Ellen Pomeroy was born on June 15, 1950. Shari loved to spend time with her family and friends, loving life and always finding adventure in it! She retired after 30 years as a Speech Pathologist with the La Mesa Spring Valley School District. Some of Shari's most favorite activities included shopping, going to Costco, participating in her kids dance functions, going to the movies, camping at the beach, and teaching kids of all ages, Shari donated much of her time to theater companies like Christian Community Theater, Christian Youth Theater, and Arms Wide Open; all San Diego based. Born and raised in San Diego, Shari lived in the La Mesa area for most of her life. She always said it was the best place to live. Shari was extremely loved and will be missed by all. Shari Ellen Pomeroy was reunited with her husband, Wayne Austin Pomeroy on July 24, 2021. She is survived by her five children; Shelly, Sarah (Joe), Aaron, Andrew and Sabrina and her six grandchildren: Alexandria, Brady, Nathan, Melissa, Jonathan and Elizabeth. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 9th at 2:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 5555 Aztec Drive in La Mesa.
