Samuel entered this life on September 21, 1945 in San Diego, California and entered into rest on December 26, 2016 in La Mesa, California at the age of 71 years, 3 months, and 5 days. He was born and raised and has resided in the San Diego, California area all of his life years,
Samuel proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed owning his own business known as "Industrial Marine" in San Diego, California. Samuel helped everybody he came in contact with. He was known as a "big joker" always laughing and clowning around.
He was a faithful and active member of the Lake Morena Community Church in Campo, California. Family and Church were his top priorities. He loved spending time at the Ultralight Park with his buddies, Cesna Airplanes, and Old Fashion Cars. Samuel rebuilt an old 1950's Buick back to its original condition.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Becky Boykin, daughter Tammy Hallock, daughter April Espinoza, son, Steven Boykin, brother Richard Boykin, sister Gay Oky, sister Eva McKay, grandchildren: Anthony, Cierra, Olivia, Luke, Maya, Maranda, and Larry Jr., and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Lake Morena Community Church, 29765 Oak Drive, Campo, California 91906
