Rubydell Nush July 12, 1923-July 26, 2016 Our Mother passed away on Tuesday 7/26. Born to Norris and Clara Phillips, she was born and raised on a ranch in Alturus Ca. After High School she attended Business College in Sacramento where she met our father Andrew Nush. They began dating and were soon married on August 9th 1923. They were married for 73 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew and is survived by her son Michael Nush and wife Mary, daughter Cathy Paine and husband Jim, daughter Mary Smith and husband Ron. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 5 great grand children. Rubydell was a resident of San Diego County for 59 years and was a parishioner of Saint Rita's and Santa Sophia Catholic Church. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and was always up to playing a game of cards. In her youth she was an accomplished marksman and took great pride in beating the men of the town with her shooting skills. She was a wonderful mother participating with all her children's activities, giving support and always loving.
