Rosemary Ghosn, beloved wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma, crossed into eternal rest on April 17, 2026.
Ro was a proud Sicilian, Brooklyn born daughter to Frank and Tessie Iaco. She moved to San Diego as a young girl where she later met and married her husband Vic, of 58 years.Ro had many loves, mainly her family & friends. Her life motto was “family first”. She spent her later years as a passionate community advocate, attending church and cultivating many friendships. She often donated her crocheted blankets to those in need and was always first to help others less fortunate. Her Del Cerro neighbors and community members were a big part of her life. Ro was everyone’s biggest cheerleader and was always rooting for those she knew and loved.
Ro and Vic had a beautiful and full life together, traveling and making memories all around the world. She is survived by her husband Vic, son Mike (Connie),daughterLaura (Bob), grand-daughter Hannah (Austin), great granddaughter Taytum, sister Cheryl (Mike) and many loving family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Tessie and her sister Camille. As Ro began to near the end of her life, her wish was to be in heaven by her 82nd birthday. She made it with a day to spare, and we know she is flying with the angels and rejoicing with the many loved ones who’ve gone before her.The family suggests donations to World Central Kitchen.Services to be held at St. Therese Parish in Del Cerro on May 9, 2026 - 11:00am
