Ronald Robert Whitaker, 68, of San Diego, California, passed away on July 17, 2026, after a brief illness. He was born in Great Falls, Montana, to Calvin and Nancy Whitaker on February 7, 1958. 

Ron worked as a skilled electrician and carpenter, and he was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America unions.Ron had a deep passion for working with shelter animals and golfing. 

He will always be remembered for his incredible zest for life. May his memory be for blessings.The family extends their deepest gratitude to Ron's dear friend, Craig Gaul, whose exceptional care, companionship, and significant support provided immense comfort during the final month of his illness.
