Ronald Franklin Mundis 1940-2019 Our beloved husband, father and grandfather Ronald Franklin Mundis passed away on May 24th, 2019 in San Diego, Ca. Ronald was born March 28th, 1940 in York Pennsylvania to Ruth Elizabeth Godfrey and Henry Lee Mundis. He was 1 of 12 children, 3 brothers and 9 sister's. He enlisted in 1957, served 20 years in the Navy and retired as BT1 and served in the Vietnam War. He loved his God and church. He loved his family dearly and his grandchildren. His favorite pass time was spending time with his family and watching football. He married Lupita Chon and had 2 daughters Elizabeth and Sarah. He survived his wife Lupita, daughters Elizabeth and Sarah and son in-law's Skyler and Antonio, 5 grandchildren Skyler Jr, Alejandro, Ezekiel, Evan and Aiden. A viewing will be held on Tuesday June 4th, 2019 from 10:30a-12:30p at Legacy Funeral Home at 7043 University Ave, La Mesa, CA 91942. And will be transported at 12:30 p.m promptly to Miramar National Cemetery were service will initiate at 1:30 p.m. 5795 Nobel Dr. San Diego, CA 92122 Celebration of Life will be held at: Veterans of Foreign Wars 7785 Othello Ave. San Diego, CA 92111
