San Diego-Bob Williams was born in Boston, MA on November 7, 1942 and passed away at home on October 12, 2017 due to cancer. He earned his B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1970 and M.S. Degree in Management Science and Engineering in 1979. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu honor societies. He married his wife Katherine on January 20, 1962. He worked as an electronics Engineer for the Department of Defense and retired after 35 years. He was an exceptional husband, father, and grandfather. He was and is truly loved by his surviving sister Liz, wife of 55 years Katherine, sons Robert (Susan), Gregory (Kimberley) and Christopher (Jennifer). His son David preceded him in death in 2011. He had 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Mother of Confidence Catholic Church, 3131 Governor Drive, San Diego, 92122. A celebration of life will follow.
