For the time being we are fashioning an obituary that will do Michele's legacy justice. She was a woman of so many talents and abilities that an obituary seems almost too confining.
I think art as close as we can render it more closely sums up her rich life.
If there are any words that sum up her short life, it would probably be these.
'The flame that burns twice as bright, burns half as long.'
As we are building Michele's obituary, I'll provide a crude poem that I (Larry, Michele's husband) wrote for her to deal with my grief.
A world of love
with you in the center
And we'll meet
We'll meet
We'll meet for ever and ever
Over and over and over
In this world and the next
And we'll love and love and love
under the angel lights above
I will never be alone
like a cold river stone
Because you'll be there
Your smiling blue eyes
and flowing red hair
You are a child of eternity now
of worldly care, free
But if you decide to look
You might see me.
I'll be joining you soon enough
And that you know
We were meant to be together
in eternity's flow.
