Michael Patrick Pippen passed away on October 16, 2026.

Born in Oakland, California, and raised in Hawaii, Michael was a man who genuinely enjoyed being alive. He went to college in Virginia before settling in California, building lifelong connections and memories in every place he called home.

Michael was a lifelong learner who took deep pride in his education, his work, and his accomplishments. He loved being outdoors, whether surfing, enjoying hot weather, or watching the birds and bugs in the yard. Straightforward and tough, he lived by the rule, "Don't be soft." He took risks, rolled with the punches, and never hesitated to do things the hard way if that is what the situation called for. Above all, Michael was driven by taking care of his family and making sure his boys were looked after.

He is survived by his three sons, Ross, Sean, and Cory, Stepson Peyton and his sister, Kristy.
