Our beloved Mike Davison of San Diego, CA was carried peacefully to heaven by angels on Monday January 25th, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. The funeral service will be held at Vista La Mesa Church on February 1, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow the funeral at El Cajon Cemetery in El Cajon, CA. Mike was born on March 4th. 1958 in Detroit, MI. He was raised in Santee, CA where he attended Chet Harrit and Santana High School. Mike married the love of his life Shawn (Nelson) on October 2, 1980. They enjoyed 35 years of marriage and raised two adored children, Joseph Sherman and Sarah Davison (Sanderson). Mike enjoyed a long career in construction and was one of the best superintendents in the industry. Most recently, he was working on the Blue Sky project downtown for Swinerton Builders. Mike enjoyed all things sports, as well as camping and family get togethers. Mike is survived by his loving wife Shawn, his two children, Joseph Sherman, Sarah Davison and her husband Jason Sanderson; His three grandchildren Bryce, Jayse, and Carter; his mother Maryann Jones; his two brothers Larry and Daniel Davison; his 2 sisters Kathy Heincy and Carol Herrin; his niece's and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father Larry Davison. He was a much loved man. Until we meet again Hollywood!
