Mary Jean Giacalone died January 3, 2018. Mary Jean was born on September 16, 1942 to Frances and Agostino Guidi in San Diego CA. Mary Jean met the love of her life and married Joseph Giacalone in 1963. They had two children and raised their family in Point Loma. Survived by her children Debra Murphy (Bill) and Joe Giacalone. She was the eldest of five siblings. Predeceased by her brother Louis and survived by her brother Joseph (Vicki), her sister Linda (Russ) and her brother Mark. Mary Jean loved the outdoors, and enjoyed tending her garden. She was famous for her baking, especially her cheese pies. A rosary and funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Chapel and Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery, Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 11:00AM.
