In Loving Memory of Lynn Marie Higgs 1947-2021 Lynn Higgs, 74, born in San Diego, California on January 15, 1947, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 8th, 2021 at her home in Allied Gardens, California. Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, Violet (Buddy) and Burton Charles of San Diego. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bob Higgs of San Diego, daughter Holle Kraft of San Diego, son John Higgs (Cheryl) of Seattle, four grandchildren, Rickelle and Ryan (Berna) Kraft, Austin, and Hallie Higgs. Her two sisters, Diane (Bert) Sele and Janna (Gerry) Fitton, and many nieces and nephews. Lynn graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in 1965 and married Bob Higgs, her high school sweetheart in Nov 1965, and started their family soon after. They purchased their first home in Santee in 1969 at 22 years old and this began their passion for buying, selling, and building homes throughout their lives. Lynn was very involved in her children's youth by volunteering at school, sports, and the community. She entered the workforce once her children entered high school. Her favorite job would be Gullwing Products where she got to work side by side with her sister, Janna, and for a time, her daughter. She had many passions, the first one being her family time but she also loved travel, crafting, animals, renovating, playing softball, watching baseball and so many other activities. Her favorite places would be Greece, Hawaii, road trips to visit missions, and of course Seattle to visit her son, Cheryl, and her grandkids. Lynn will be remembered as a beautiful soul, smart as a whip, lots of laughter, devoted wife, caring and supportive mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Lynn will be celebrated and missed dearly by all who know her. Her family wishes to thank all the staff, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and volunteers who gave Lynn such tender care in her final days. Memorial donations may be made to Sharp Hospice care. Lynn's family and friends will celebrate her life on November 20, 2021, at Stone Brewing's large banquet in Liberty Station: 11 am-2pm: All who knew Lynn and/or her family are welcome. Come eat, drink and share stories.
