Ray and Linda moved to Daniel Island, South Carolina, in 2004, where Linda got a job at the U.S. Passport Office. In 2011, Linda got a transfer to the U.S. Passport Office in San Diego, California, so that she and Ray could be near their granddaughter, Mia.

Linda will be remembered as a kind and gentle woman with a sharp wit and an incredible work ethic. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Ray Hodgson; sister Connie Bunch; sons Todd and Tim (and Tim's wife, Lisa); and granddaughter, Mia.
