Jose Onofre (Joe) Valdez of San Diego California passed away on November 9, 2015. Jose O. Valdez was born December 14, 1954 in San Diego, California. Joe was the first born to Onofre Valdez and Gloria Razo Valdez. He is survived by his wife Janice Valdez, daughter Adela Gina Valdez and grandson Connor Valdez, brothers and sisters, our sister who preceded him, Gloria Patricia Valdez Brown, Victor D. Valdez (Becky), Genoveva Valdez, Bruno S. Valdez and Vicente T. Valdez (Vonda). He also leaves 10 nieces and nephews and countless close Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. Joe graduated from Samuel F. B. Morse in 1973. Joe joined the Army in October 1973 at the age of 18, where he served in Vietnam, Hawaii and Germany. He continued his service as a mail carrier for the US Postal service where he retired in 2007. Joe enjoyed fishing, football and had a great love for his dogs. Joe was a huge San Diego Charger and San Diego Padre Fan and enjoyed spending time with Victor and Becky at games and the tailgate parties. You will be missed but never forgotten.
