Jose Angel "Pepe" Rubio, at the age 40 left his physical life in his home in Oceanside, CA surrounded by his loving family, after a 4 year battle to cancer. February 22, 2018, marks the re-birth and his journey to our heavenly Father. Pepe as he preferred to be called by his family and friends was born in Mexico City on March 6, 1977 to Jaime and Angelica Rubio. Married the love of his life Silvia Rubio in 1996 and have three wonderful children, Karen, Kevin, and the beautiful Keily along with his faithful companion and service DOG "Konan". He was also the middle child which explains why he is the way he is !!! Jaime Eduardo Rubio his older brother also called "Pujos" and his baby brother Salvador Rubio also know as "Bibis, Cuco, Savino, Refugio, Bladimier, Escualo" and many more nicknames depending on Pepe's mood. Pepe (known as) "El Spider Man, Chepe, y El Perro" enjoyed bicycling, running, soccer and music. As many of you know, he completed MS150, a triathlon, Carlsbad 5k, and many other Cancer Awareness Marathons. Above all these hard working and dedicated events, his greatest love, pride and joy is and will ALWAYS be, being the father of his three children, husband to Silvia, son, brother, brother-in-law to Lizbeth and uncle to Arlette and Aaron. Our Lord has always guided Pepe's path here on earth, and now our Lord is welcoming Pepe through the gates of heaven. The Rubio family welcomes everyone to celebrate his life at First Lutheran Church 1410 Footthill Dr. Vista CA 92084 on Saturday, 3/ 10 /2018, from 3:30pm – 5:00pm.
