Joe Ruiz of San Diego CA, was born on July 22, 1934 in Texas and passed away on December 07, 2020 at the age of 86. Our Grandfather Joe Ruiz was our "rock", our everything. Joe retired from the Navy and volunteered as a Sheriffs Senior Volunteer Patrol. He loved watching sports, especially the Padres. Life will never be the same without him, he will be missed dearly. Our memories of him will be cherished. He is survived by his brother Felix Ruiz of LaPorte, Texas, Grandchildren Cherie Ruiz, Jamie and Randy Brummett, Great Grandchildren Priscilla and Monique Ruiz, Great Great Grandchildren Arturo, Alexis, Jose, Alana, Roberto Jr, Great Great Great Grandchild Eli He was preceded in death by his parents Pablo and Felicita Ruiz, Victoria, TX; twin sister Josephine Ruiz De La Garza, Rockport, TX; brother Tomas Ruiz, Spring Valley, CA; sisters Ramona Hernandez, Houston, TX; Victoria Molina, Cleveland, TX; and Luisa Naranjo, of Victoria, TX. Daughter Sonia Moen, of San Diego CA, Wife Mary Ruiz, of San Diego, CA in this everlasting light. Safely Home by Author Unknown I am here in heaven, dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright.
