Jane E. Carr was born on October 26, 1929 in Boston, Mass. After 9 decades of life she died in National City, Ca. on August 23, 2021 at the age of 91. Jane moved from Mass. in 1960 when her husband Richard Carr (deceased) was transferred by the Navy to California. So they loaded up the car with the two of them and 5 children to drive across the country. Jane remained in California for the rest of her life although she dearly missed Massachusetts. In her younger days she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting. The family still have many of her beautiful creations. Then she started making ceramic items, which were pieces of art. She will be missed by her children that sat in the car for the long drive across the country. Vivian Nelson, Sonchen Patton, Phillip Carr, Karen Garcia, Jim Carr (deceased) and her 8 grandchildren, along with her great grandchildren. Her life's motto was "I'm doing the best that I can".
