James David Stanley was born on May 12, 1976 in Augusta, Georgia to John & Thua Stanley. James was the second and youngest born son. James was cared for by our loving family during the last days of his life. James passed away at his residence in San Diego, CA on January 21,2021 at the age of 44. During these unfortunate times with COVID-19 our family held a small service and memorial on February 14th, 2021. James will be remembered for his impact on all who knew him for his willingness to help others and mostly his great sense of humor. James smiles will never be forgotten, he was a fighter who battled many difficult problems in his lifetime! James leaves behind to treasure his memory; partner Cathie Kincaid, their daughter, Celicia Kincaid, Step daughter Cecilianna Gutierrez. Also survived by his mother, Thua and his brother Steven Stanley, in addition to his nephews Andreas & Isaiah Williams. Also many other relatives and friends that remain part of his legacy and memory not mentioned. We all thank you for being a part of James life, and providing us joy, love and laughter in all the memories we have shared with our beloved James! "rest in peace"
