James Carl Duncan Jr (Jimmy) was born and raised in San Diego. During his youth, he enjoyed playing baseball but his true love was music. Jimmy's first electric guitar was a sunburst Gibson Les Paul Copy, he received as a Christmas present. This led to music lessons, amps, fuzz boxes and other items that brought "Music" to the Duncan household and numerous garage bands. After high school Jimmy attended Grossmont College where he began a career in Radio.. Jimmy worked for numerous broadcasting companies including CCN, Metro Traffic, Airwatch and others. Due to a down turn in the radio business, Jimmy began a new start by working at The Home Depot. .Jimmy was an outgoing people person. Jimmy enjoyed helping customers and working with fellow associates. Jimmy passed away on 02-27-2018 at home from a short illness. Jimmy is survived by his mother Charlene, brother Dan, fiancee Theresa and numerous other relatives. Graveside services will be held March 8,at 11:00 AM at El Camino Memorial Cemetery located at 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego. Please wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt.
