Jack Block passed away Friday night August 26, 2016. Jack had several careers in his life, college professor, technical writer for General Dynamics, flutist for the San Diego Symphony and La Jolla Symphony, Mission Trails guide. Jack was 94 when he passed away and he will be remembered for his wry sense of humor and his witty intelligence. His passing creates a huge void in the lives of his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Jerry Block and Peggy DeCino and their families, his second wife, Adele Block, and the children of his third wife, Reva Block. Jack had a passion for learning and loved collecting musical instruments, sheet music, clocks, watches, books, and lots of technical and electronic widgets. The author of several text books on Technical Writing and Hotel Management.
