Hertha Froelich-Maleniecki, age 93, of San Diego, passed away Tuesday morning, September 1, 2021, at Sharp Memorial Hospital. She was born April 19, 1928, in Hamburg, Germany. Hertha was a daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Leonor Froelich-Pilichowski and Karen Ann Hankins; and three grandchildren, Gary Raye Hankins, Christina Marie Hankins and Eric Lad Hankins. She also leaves many others who will sadly miss her. Hertha was a strong, determined and independent woman. It's safe to say she was a perfectionist and did everything in her own special way - the right way. She was witty, hilarious and there was never a dull moment spent with her. She enjoyed sewing, pancakes, and spending time in her garden. We will miss her every day.
