PRC Herbert Lee Francis Wall 02/26/1925 - 03/06/2018 Survivor Orphaned at about 5 years old during the Great Depression, escaped from the orphanage and was on his own for yrs. With the help of a kindhearted family, he went to school then joined the Navy in 1943. Fought in WW2, Korea and multiple tours in Vietnam. Joined the elite Navy SEAL Team ONE during the Vietnam War. Executed countless missions. Honorably discharged 1972 due to a parachute accident. Was married x3. Stated the wars were easier. Worked hard and eventually lived as a cattle rancher with wife, Rose. Loved animals and was so tenderhearted, he allowed legions of stray cats, antelope and deer free reign of the ranch in company with the Long horn cattle. He fed them all. Taught his daughters the fine art of sarcasm/how to talk to dumb-asses; how to see the twisted, ridiculous goofiness in life and to suck it up and get through it; know when to kick butts and take names; survival in the wilderness and urban settings, and ALWAYS watch your 6. He loved the outdoors, engaged life and lived it how he wanted to. Worked hard, could fix or build about anything, and would help friends and neighbors when asked. He is survived by all 3 wives, 3 daughters, a step-daughter and their respective families/large villages of descendants. He is already greatly missed. THANK YOU DAD! Instead of sending flowers etc, please donate to the Natl Navy UDT-SEAL Museum 3300 N. A1A Ft. Pierce, FL 34949-8520
