Helen Katherine Finlay June 17, 1926- September 25, 2020 Helen Finlay, age 94, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2020 in San Diego, California where she has resided happily since the mid 1980s. She was born June 17, 1926 to William and Helen (Allen) Finlay of Pittsburgh.Helen was preceded in death by her brother, William Finlay Jr. In the words of Lynn Reed, a close Bible Study friend; Helen was a feisty, independent, hilarious woman of faith. She had the best sense of humor and shared it liberally with the women of her bible study small groups. She was honest and down to earth and accomplished in so many ways. Her accomplishments included being a speech teacher and one of the first female directors of recreation on cruise ships that travelled all over the world. In her later years, she made crafts to sell at the local shops. She called it her five fingered factory. She had so much to share and loved the Lord with all her heart. She is in the arms of Jesus now.
