Forever In Our Hearts Greg was born in Yokosuka, Japan on June 1, 1949. He was a dependent of a Navy family, so he traveled frequently. He spent most of his early life in San Diego, graduating from Point Loma High School and attending San Diego State. He had many different occupations during his lifetime. He owned and operated a Chevron station in Palm Springs and then in Fallbrook. Later he was a partner in restaurants in the Fallbrook area. Finally he was involved with real estate sales, also in the Fallbrook area. He also enjoyed socializing with his friends at Pauma Casino which he loved. His passion from the time he was very young was being a collector of a variety of items. He was married to Patti Schmid on April 30, 1988. They were happily married for 22 years and resided in Bonsall, CA until her passing in 2010. Greg was preceded in death by his Father Orris Vernon Clark, his Mother Vada Louise (Rickey) Clark, and his step-mother Betty "Sam" Clark. He is survived by his brother Donald (Char) Clark and sisters Tanya Clark and Roberta Ritnour. On Patti's side he is survived by her sister, Kathy Lowe Schusler, Son John (Vickie) Schmid Jr., Daughter Jenny (Tim) Lackey, Daughter Pattie ( Jon) Fasola, Son Justin ( Joyce) Schmid, Daughter Jonelle ( Chris) Mast. Greg also leaves behind 16 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins Nieces and Nephews and Wonderful Friends in his life. Greg loved his furry and feathered pets. That would include dogs, cats and a parrot. He was a very caring, generous, friendly, good natured and loved by all who knew him. He was called home to the LORD on January 7, 2017 at the age of 67.
