Grace LaVonne Miller 1942-2019 Born Sept. 18, 1942; died Sept. 20, 2019, in La Jolla, CA. Her son, Lane Lewis Miller, was by her side. Grace was born in San Diego to Lewis and Thelma Bolte of Pacific Beach. She was a lifelong artist, who for the past 25 years has been making dichroic glass jewelry and selling it at her studio in Spanish Village in Balboa Park. Grace was an active member of Delta Theta Chi Sorority and served on the Board of Trustees. Grace is survived by her son, Lane Miller, his wife Sadie Shaw, and many close friends, fellow artists, and Sorority sisters. We all miss her laughter, storytelling, and whimsical spirit. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in her honor in Spanish Village in front of Studio 7 on Sunday, November 24th from 4 - 7 pm.
