With deep sadness I would like the family and Friends of Dennis Lee Berry to know that – On December 29, 2017 Dennis Lee Berry pasted away from cancer. The family will be placing him to rest on January 19, 2018 at: Miramar National Cemetery located at 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego, CA 92122 at 9:30 A.M. Sharp. Dennis Lee Berry was born in Cherry Point, North Caroline on May 5, 1950; His father was Ivan Sylvester Berry and his mother Polly Anna Wofford. Survivors include his brothers Ivan Berry, David Berry, Garron Edgington and sisters Mary Smith, Linda Cusick and Shirley Lebeck. Dennis was a beloved brother, brother in-law, father, uncle and cousin. Dennis was a true southern California all although not born here; he sent most of his life here. He was an excellent welder, electrician and mechanic. He welded in the shipyard where he mastered the art of welding and worked 30 years as a Commercial Electrician. Dennis loved to Tinker would take things apart to see how they worked and then put them back together. He could build almost anything. He taught many of these skills to his Nephews. He was Artist and was able to think outside the box. He spent his life looking at things from a different perspective. He will be missed.
