Deborah Elizabeth Salse was known for her laughter and spicy attitude. She made friends wherever she went and was known and loved by many. While Debbie had many close relatives, once she met you, you were immediately adopted into her family.
Debbie was born in Covina, California and was one of four children born to Donna and Roland. Her siblings Denna, Butch, and Mark all appreciated her love for life and will deeply miss her. Debbie built a successful career for herself in Audio/Visual Sales over 30 plus years. She took pride in her work, but she also knew how to let loose. She formed many relationships with her coworkers and clients over the years and greatly appreciated every single one.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Louis Salse. Their love was one of a kind. They knew how to fight fair and love hard. They were rarely apart and always making each other laugh. From riding ATV's and playing at the river, to taking their RV out and visiting different KOA's, they enjoyed every minute that was spent together. Debbie was Louie's wonderful wife, best friend, and the best co-pilot.
Debbie was extremely proud of her children, Laurie, Shelly, and Eric. She loved celebrating all their milestones and their growing families over the years. Known as "Gram", she was extremely close with all of her grandchildren. She would talk to them often and was known not only as a Grandma, but as a close friend. Her favorite little people were her great grand children. They all referred to her as "GiGi" and she was beyond proud of each one of them. She found great joy in all of our babies and made sure to show them off to all friends and family.
Although life was interrupted and she spent many months in and out of Scripps Green Hospital, she formed amazing friendships with the entire staff. They went above and beyond to take care of her, even going as far as coming to visit to say their own goodbyes when the time came. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to every nurse, doctor, and support staff that had a hand in her care.
Debbie's family takes great pride in her valiant fight, and finds comfort in knowing that she is resting in Heaven. The only pain left is ours while we wait to be reunited with her again.
Debbie's Memorial Service will be held on December 17, 2016 at 1 pm. All are welcome to come celebrate her life. It will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Sun City, California.
