Deborah Hock passed away on Nov. 16, 2016, in La Mesa, Calif., at the age of 57 after a three-year battle with cancer.
Debbie worked for the SoCo Group in El Cajon, Calif., for 12 years in the dispatch department. In her spare time, she doted on her nieces and nephew, who loved her and will miss her immensely.
A native of Long Island, N.Y., Debbie moved to San Diego when she was in elementary school. She graduated from Mount Miguel High School in Spring Valley, Calif., in 1977.
Debbie is survived by her mother, Carol Maryon; her grandmother, Margaret Hock; her sister, Sandy Justman (Alex); two brothers, Robert Hock (Michelle) and John Maryon (Teri); four nieces, Lindsay Maryon, Claire Justman, Maggie Hock and Willa Hock; and one nephew, Brett Maryon.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Sharp Hospice, where Debbie received exceptional care during her final days. The Hock/Maryon family also would like to give a special thanks to the management and employees of the SoCo Group, who showed tremendous compassion and generosity during Debbie's long illness.
