"Mr. Smith" Dean passed away peacefully after a courageous, hard fought battle with cancer. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his sense of humor and "never give up" attitude. His favorite quote by Hunter S. Thompson was "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!" And that's how he lived his life! During his final months Dean was lovingly cared for by his wife Suzan and grandson Parker who were by his side every day. The family would like to thank nurse Paul and the entire Sharp Hospice Team who carried out his wishes with love and respect. We are eternally grateful for their support and kindness.
