Dan entered this life on April 18, 1950 in Tooele, Utah and entered into rest on February 2, 2017 in San Diego, California at the age of 66 years. He will be deeply missed by wife of 41 years Marcia M. Griffith, daughter Quincy Hayes, sons Jeffrey Griffith and wife Amber & Dalton Griffith and wife Tiffany, seven grandchildren, mother Sherrie Briggs, brothers Lynn Felice & Lee Felice, extended family and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his father Jeff Griffith in 1979. Dan enjoyed his 45 year career as a self-employed Plumbing Contractor in the construction industry. He was a graduate of Crawford High School in San Diego Class of 1968 and then attended Mesa College in San Diego, California. Dan was a proud member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #282 in La Mesa, California. Dan was known for his love of spending time at his family cabin in Estes Park, Colorado. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, February 12th, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the American Legion Post 282, 8118 University Ave., La Mesa, California. Dan will be privately laid to rest at his favorite surroundings of Estes Park, Colorado.
