Cornelia W. Butler (Cory) passed away suddenly at her home in El Cajon California on December 23, 2015. She was 83. Cory was born in South Bend Indiana on November 10, 1932. She graduated from South Bend High and worked for a short time at Bendix in South Bend. Her maiden name was VanEs and was from a family of 8 brothers and sisters. She married John Butler (Jack) of Plymouth Indiana, moved to El Cajon California, raised two boys, Dennis and David. She was a great mom and grandma. She will be missed grealty. Cory was a generous person. She never turned her back on anyone in need. A second mom to many. She is proceeded in death by her husband Jack. She leaves behind 2 sons, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial and celebration of Cory's life will be held on January 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM at The New Apostolic Church 1763 N. 1st Street, El Cajon California. A fellowship will be held after the service. In lieu of flowers a donation to the American Heart Association in Cory's name would be appreciated.
