Connie Garcia Otey, 94, of El Cajon, California passed away peacefully with her husband Terry by her side on November 9, 2023. Connie loved her family, friends and was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandparent and Friend. She embraced her extended group of family and friends with warmth, love and her fun humor. She with her husband Terry were active members of their Church and regular volunteers. Connie is survived by her husband of 27 years, Terry Otey. Daughters: Carol McGovney, Debbie Patton (husband Reese); sons: Bobby Garcia (wife Nancy), Paul Garcia. 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Brother; Augie Martinez; Sisters; Lucy DeLong, Andrea Colmenero and Helen Baker. Preceded in death by her first child, baby Robert (1949), her Mother Maria Martinez; Brothers and sisters; John, Margaret, Mary, Tony, Raymond and Esther A Mass is scheduled for December 15th at 9:30 a.m. located at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 405 Ballard St., El Cajon, CA. 92019. A lunch & refreshments reception will immediately follow the Mass in the San Raphael Church Hall.
