Charles (Chuck) Muller passed away peacefully on 3/26/2018. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years, Anna Mae (Annie) Muller. Also predeceased by his parents Charles and Matilda and Sister Charlotte. His family moved to San Diego in 1922 and all of Chuck's education was in San Diego – including San Diego High School and San Diego State College (now University) where he graduated with a BA Fine Arts. He served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater during WWII. His primary career was with Pacific Telephone Company. Over the course of these years he was active and affiliated with numerous community social service organizations. For well over 20 years Chuck and Annie have been members of Foothills United Methodist Church in La Mesa, CA. One of their greatest joys was participating the Church's very active Community outreach programs. He is survived by the loves of his life – Son Gary & his wife Cyndi, Son Grant and his wife Terri, and grandchildren Ryan, Chelsea, and Sarah. Memorial service to be held at the Foothills United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 3:00 pm. The family suggests – in lieu of flowers – remembrances can be made to Foothills United Methodist Church, 4031 Avocado Blvd., La Mesa CA 91941, or your favorite Charity or Volunteer Organizations.
