In Loving Memory of Brittany Poster Matheny

July 27, 1986 – July 20, 2026

With profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Brittany Poster Matheny, who entered into the arms of the Lord on July 20, 2026, at the age of 39.

Brittany was born on July 27, 1986, to Ida Lozano and Donald Poster. Her father Donald welcomed her into Heaven with open arms. She was also reunited with her beloved sister, Tiffany, and her former husband, Jackson Matheny, who now rest together in God's eternal peace.

Above all else, Brittany's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving mother to Adam Taylor Jr. and Tarah Parada-Donohue, and embraced Desteny, Thunder, and Megan Matheny as her bonus children, grandchildren that brought purpose to her life.

Brittany is survived by her mother, Ida Lozano; her stepfather, Todd Eviston; her stepmother, Cassie Beyer; her sisters Merritt, Cassandra, Ashley, and Cierra; her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends whose lives were forever touched by her kindness and love.

Anyone who knew Brittany knew her unforgettable belly laugh. It was the kind of laugh that was impossible not to laugh along with. Her smile was warm, her heart was genuine, and she had a beautiful way of making everyone around her feel welcomed and loved.

Life placed many challenges before Brittany, yet she met each one with incredible strength, unwavering faith, and a positive spirit. No matter what hardships she faced, she chose hope, kindness, and love. Brittany loved deeply and unconditionally. She left every person she met feeling a little more loved.

Although our hearts are broken and her absence leaves a void, we find peace in knowing that Brittany is now free from pain and safely in the loving arms of our Lord, reunited with her father Donald, her sister Tiffany, and husband Jackson. While we will miss her contagious laugh, and caring heart every day, her love will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.

**"Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day—unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, and very dear.”
