Antal Tolgyesi, 74, died January 6, 2017, in Julian California. Antal was born in Hungary where he served in the Hungarian Army. Antal later moved to the U.S. where he became a longtime resident of Illinois, and he later retired in Julian California. Antal was a machinist for 36 years in Elk Grove, Illinois. Antal enjoyed gardening, and watching Benny Hill. He is survived by his brother, Tibor, two sons, Anthony (Jania), Frank (Kathy), three grandchildren, and great grandchild. A celebration of his life will be held in the the future at Starved Rock State Park.
