Anna Mae {Annie} Muller, the love of our lives, passed away Dec. 27, 2017. She heard Him calling and answered the call. Annie was born on Sept. 3, 1924 in Los Angeles, Ca. Parents Ralph Harris and Hilda Olson Harris. She joined the U.S. Navy in WWII and served in the Medical Corp at a Navy hospital in Norco, Ca. She was married to husband "Chuck" for 67 wonderful years. Her 2 sons are Gary C. Muller – wife Cyndi and Grant T. Muller – wife – Terri. Grand Children Ryan, Chelsea and Sarah. Annie devoted her life to reaching out to help others in need. As an example she was a member of the Edgemoor Hospital Auxiliary for 35 years serving in many board positions – President on down and created a Beauty Shop there and spent many days caring for the needs of Edgemoor patients. As a member of Foothills United Methodist Church she served on numerous outreach committees including Missions to distant places such as Morrison in South Africa. Over the adult years of her life she served in many Community Service Organizations and was recognized for her leadership receiving awards such as Red Cross "Volunteer of the Year" and her placement in the American Red Cross "Hall of Fame". A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday February 10th at Foothills United Methodist Church located at 4031 Avocado Blvd., La Mesa, CA. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made to Foothills United Methodist Church or your favorite Charity or Volunteer Organization. God Bless her as she blessed so many others!
