Ted Yoshito Kawamoto
September 10, 1949 - January 04, 2014
Ted is preceded in death by his father Keichi Kawamoto. He is survived by his mother Yoshiko Kawamoto, sister Laraine Robertson , brother Victor Kawamoto, niece Kayla Kawamoto, and beloved dog Barkley.
Ted was born in Berkley, California and graduated with a Degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. To pursue his passion in architecture he started a company to design and build homes in the Oakland Hills.
Ted also worked for the Department of the Navy as a Project Manager at various naval facilities. His passion of golf led him to pursue a second career as a PGA Teaching Pro. Upon graduating from the Professional Golfers College in San Diego Ted worked at Singing Hills Country Club.
Ted's hobbies included fishing, home renovation, and tinkering with his cars. Ted was a loyal friend to all who got to know him and these friendships were very special to him. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
A private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th, at the Florin Buddhist Church in Sacramento.
